Chef Amadeus was raised in Jacksonville, Florida.. Beginning his culinary journey with his mother from Philadelphia and grandmother from Puerto Rico gave him an incredible head start in the kitchen. His love of cooking deepened while serving in the United States Navy. During his travels across the United States and abroad, Chef Amadeus discovered a broad palette, which sparked him to create delectable fusion recipes.

Chef Amadeus credits his mentors, Chef Martyn Carre, Chef Tom Gray, Chef Sheldon Harris, and the one that got him started on his culinary adventure in the Navy: Anthony Vanhecker. While working in various kitchens, many guests began to invite Chef Amadeus to their homes to prepare his own creations in their kitchens. This furthered his creative and culinary drive.

When Chef Amadeus visited the Pacific Northwest of the United States, he was engaged by the freshness of the food and wine.  He has since moved to Seattle, Washington, where his clients enjoy his artful down-home cooking and unabashed haute cuisine. Chef Amadeus also designed his own seasoning blend: Southern Passion™. This line of well-blended spices are loved and enjoyed across the country. It’s salt-free and infused with nuanced flavor… “Just a bump of spice and passion”. Chef Amadeus is fast becoming one Washington residents’ favorite personal event chefs. Guests may commission Chef Amadeus for private parties and his signature offerings: Door Knock Sessions (a personalized in-home cooking demonstration/party), Ladies’ Night Out, and The Southern Passion Tour.

Chef Amadeus actively participates in outreach and civic work; reinforcing the connection between nutrition and healthy communities.
